Official Fair Cookie Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. cottage cheese (small curd)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. maraschino cherries, cut up

Preparation

Cream first 5 ingredients, then add remaining ingredients. Chill dough.
Roll into balls.
Roll in powdered sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
