Cantaloupe Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium melons
    1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. butter flavored extract
Preparation
    Peel and remove seeds from melons.
    Dice melons and cook with 1 cup of sugar, stirring well, until melons are tender.
    Mix together egg yolks, flour, 1/2 cup sugar, margarine and lemon juice.
    Add this mixture to melon mixture and cook until thick. Stir constantly.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter flavoring.
    Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue. Chill pie.
    Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
