Myrtle Faircloth'S Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour (plain)
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla; mix well.
Use 3 or 4 round 9-inch pans, greased and lightly floured.
Fill each pan 1/2 full with batter.
(Layers will be thin.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
