Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 yeast cakes
    6 1/2 c. flour
    1 egg
Preparation
    Heat milk, sugar, salt and shortening; scald but don't boil. Cool to lukewarm.
    Pour over yeast in large bowl.
    Let yeast dissolve.
    Add egg and flour; let rise to double in size.
    Roll out and cut into rolls.
    Let rise in pan, then bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
