Escalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 1/2 c. white sauce
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
    salt
Preparation
    Shred the cabbage and cook about 10 minutes in boiling salted water.
    Place in a baking dish, alternating layers of cabbage with white sauce and grated cheese.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Bake in moderate oven until brown.
