Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped broccoli
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 c. light cream
    1/2 c. Velveeta cheese, grated
    1 envelope Herb-Ox chicken broth
Preparation
    Cook broccoli in water and salt until tender.
    Saute onion in butter until transparent.
    Add onion to broccoli and mash.
    Add chicken broth, cream and cheese.
    Mix well.
    Heat, but do not boil.
    Serves 5.
    May thicken with cornstarch/water.
