Tomato Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato paste
    onions
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
    salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. water
    3 pieces toast
Preparation
    Simmer onions and peppers in water for 10 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour over 3 pieces of cut up toast.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Good with beef.
