Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (oleo MAY be used, but not as good)
    3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    1 c. finely ground pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and work into a stiff dough. Pinch off a small amount and roll thin between the palms. Curve like a horseshoe; place on cookie sheet fairly close together. Bake at 350\u00b0 until light golden brown. Roll in powdered sugar while hot. Cool and store in a cool place.
