Jewel'S Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. white syrup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients except vanilla.
Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute.
Take from heat. Add vanilla.
Cool, then beat to spreading consistency.
