Green Tomato Ketchup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gallon green tomatoes
    10 - 12 medium onions
    5 -6 sweet pepper (green or red)
    1 medium head cabbage
    1/4 cup salt
    2 cups sugar
    2 cups vinegar
    1 tablespoon pickling spice (in a cloth bag)
Preparation
    Chop or grind tomatoes. Add salt and cover with boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain. Chop or grind onions, peppers and cabbage. Add to green tomatoes and then add the sugar, vinegar and spices. Bring to a boil. Boil 10 to 15 minutes. Remove spice bag and seal in hot jars.
