Teatime Tassies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2/3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Blend softened cream cheese and butter until creamy.
    Add flour; blend.
    Make into 24 balls and place in pan (small muffin pan).
    Flatten dough to shape of pan to form a crust.
    Mix the egg, brown sugar, vanilla and butter together.
    Fill dough cups with 1/3 cup chopped nuts; add mixture and top with remaining nuts.
    Bake for 25 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cool.
    Great for gifts!
