Apricot Plytsok With Meringue Nut Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1/3 c. butter, softened (about 11 Tbsp.)
    2 Tbsp. sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    lemon peel, grated
    3 egg yolks
    1 lb. jar apricot marmalade
    2 egg whites, beaten with 1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 to 1 c. ground nuts (walnut, hazelnut, almond, whatever your preference)
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix flour, butter, sour cream, sugar and baking powder, lemon peel and egg yolks together.
    Divide dough almost in half.
    Refrigerate dough 1 to 2 hours.
