Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. corn syrup
    1/3 c. hot water
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter, syrup and water in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cook with microwave 4 minutes.
    Stir.
    Cook 3 minutes longer. Beat in the evaporated milk and vanilla.
    Recipe yields 3 cups.
