Smoked Sausage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pkg. Louis Rich turkey smoked sausage (may use 1/2 lb. according to taste)
1 small head cabbage
4 c. chicken broth or 4 c. water plus 2 tsp. chicken bouillon
1 lb. can white beans (undrained)
1 lb. can red kidney beans (undrained)
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 small can sliced carrots
Preparation

Thinly slice turkey smoked sausage, carrots and cabbage. Combine with remaining ingredients in Dutch oven or soup pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Makes six 2-cup servings.
