Cowboy Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion
    4 green onions
    1/4 c. bell pepper
    1/4 c. celery
    1/2 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 (32 oz.) can Ranch Style beans
    6 medium potatoes, cubed
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Melt margarine, then add ground beef and brown well.
    Add next 5 ingredients and saute in ground meat until soft.
    Then add salt, pepper, chili powder and sugar.
    Stir well and add tomatoes, corn, beans, potatoes and water.
    Stir and bring to a boil.
    Simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, until tender.
    Serve alone or over rice.
