Easy Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (7 oz.) can minced clams
    water
    2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 onion, diced
    4 slices bacon
    4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain liquid from clams; add water to make 2 cups liquid.
    Add potatoes and onion to liquid; cook until tender.
    Fry bacon; cut in small pieces.
    Add bacon and remaining ingredients to vegetables; heat slowly for 10 minutes but do not boil.
    Yields 6 servings.
