Red Corn Cob Jelly - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 to 15 large corn cobs
3 c. sugar (cane sugar)
1 box Sure-Jell
Preparation

Wash corn cobs and break into small pieces.
Cook in 8 cups water.
Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes, boiling slowly, then strain, put in a pan and add Sure-Jell.
Bring to a boil and boil hard for 1 1/2 minutes, then add sugar and boil for 1 1/2 minutes again or until jelly sheets from spoon.
Pour into jars.
