Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar and mix well. Add milk and vanilla.
    Strain mixture as you pour it into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 40 minutes. Do not overbake or it will get watery.
