Raspberry Or Blackberry Liqueur - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. raspberries or blackberries
1 lb. granulated sugar
1 fifth vodka
Preparation

Mix all the ingredients in a 1-gallon, wide mouthed jar. Store in a cool, dark place.
Stir or shake every few days for about 3 weeks.
Strain through several layers of cheesecloth, reserving the liquid, but discarding the pulp and seeds. Refrigerated, the liqueur will keep indefinitely.
Makes 5 cups.
