Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 or 3 bananas
    baked 8-inch pie shell
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Slowly stir in hot milk; cook over direct heat until mixture thickens.
    Stir a little of the hot mixture into well beaten egg yolks; cook until thick.
    Add the sliced bananas and vanilla.
    Beat egg whites until soft peaks.
    Cover the cream mixture and brown.
