Fresh Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/3 c. water (warm) or 1 1/2 c.
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Add shortening and warm water.
    Knead dough until well mixed.
    Form into 3-inch ball.
    Roll out into round flat cakes, about 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick and cook on very hot griddle, first one side and then the other until both sides are spotted medium brown.
