Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    juice of 5 fresh oranges
    juice of 2 fresh lemons
    5 ripe bananas, mashed
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    3 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water 3 minutes; let cool.
    Add fruit juices and bananas (these can be blended together).
    Mix well.
    Put in a large container, cover and freeze.
    Remove from freezer 2 1/2 to 3 hours before use.
    Thaw to a mushy texture.
    Add ginger ale and serve.
    Serves 30 with seconds.
