Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    2 c. grated cheese (Jack, Cheddar or combo)
    2 to 3 onions
    1 avocado (optional), cut in chunks
    1 (2 oz.) can sliced black olives
    16 to 20 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tomato, chopped
    1 bag Doritos or other tortilla chips
    1 envelope dry taco seasoning
Preparation
    Brown meat; drain and while warm mix in dry taco seasoning (do not add liquid).
    Let meat cool.
    Toss with other ingredients. Just before serving, garnish with tortilla chips.
