Old-Fashioned Liver Nips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. uncooked beef liver
    1/8 lb. uncooked beef suet
    medium size onion
    1 egg
    8 Tbsp. sweet basil
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    black pepper to taste
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    3/4 c. beef stock or broth from cooked beef roast
    1 Tbsp. coriander (ground)
Preparation
    Grind liver, suet and onion with food chopper.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix with a spoon to a stiff dough.
    Heat remainder of beef stock (about 2 quarts; add water to make this amount, if necessary) to a hard boil.
