10 Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. each: black-eyed peas, pinto beans, navy, red beans, limas, white, split peas, lentils and barley
    2 qt. water
    2 stalks celery
    3 carrots
    1 can tomatoes
    onion
    2 cloves garlic
    chili powder
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In a large pot, soak beans overnight.
    Drain and rinse.
    Bring beans to boil in 2 quarts water.
    Reduce heat; simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
    Add the remaining ingredients; simmer for 30 minutes. Serves 16 people.
