Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
When ready to bake, heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour into pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
