Good Quick Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. jar dill pickles
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Drain pickles and rinse.
    Wash in cold water and drain.
    Cut in quarters; put back in jar.
    Cook sugar, vinegar, water and spice.
    Bring to boil; remove from heat and cool.
    Pour over pickles; cap and refrigerate for 3 days.
