Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. rice
    1 can beef consomme or beef broth
    water
    3/4 c. slivered almonds
    1 jar chopped mushrooms (do not drain)
Preparation
    Brown onion in oleo; add rice and broth or consomme.
    Add enough water to make 2 cups liquid, almonds and mushrooms.
    Bake in covered casserole dish for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    (Make sure liquid covers rice and check for doneness as ovens vary.)
