Cabbage Patch Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground chuck
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 c. diced celery
1/4 c. diced green pepper
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. chopped cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder to taste
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Cook and stir ground chuck until light brown.
Add onion, celery and green pepper.
Cook several minutes. Stir in stewed tomatoes, soup, water, cabbage, salt, pepper, chili powder and brown sugar.
Simmer until done.
You might want to add small V-8 or tomato juice.
