Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. plain flour
2 Tbsp. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Combine dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Add yeast and buttermilk; knead well.
Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place in baking pan; let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Any remaining dough can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
