Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. salt pork, cut into strips
    1 onion, diced
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    2 potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen kernel corn
    3 Tbsp. minced parsley
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook the salt pork slowly in a large, heavy skillet.
    Add the onion, green pepper, potato and butter or margarine and saute slowly for 15 to 20 minutes or until potato is tender.
    Add salt, black pepper and corn and heat, stirring, until corn has thawed. Stir in parsley and milk; simmer gently, stirring, until corn is done.
    Do not boil.
    Serve at once.
