Hawaiian Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. carrots
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 1/2 c. pineapple juice and water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Peel carrots and cut in 1/2-inch diagonal slices.
Cook carrots
in
small\tamount\tof
water until almost done.
Heat juice
and\twater,\treserving
1/4 cup.
Mix salt, cornstarch, sugar
and\tlemon
juice in the 1/4 cup reserved liquid.
Cook until
thick
and clear.
Add pineapple and pour over carrots. Let simmer until ready to serve.
