One-Hour Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. shortening
4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat milk to lukewarm.
Add shortening. Mix yeast and sugar in a cup and pour in a little warm milk to dissolve.
Add to the other liquid mixture and add dry ingredients.
Knead, using more flour if necessary.
Roll out dough as if for biscuits, cut and put in pans.
Let rise for 45 minutes and bake at 400\u00b0.
