Old Fashion Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 small or 5 large eggs
    2 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Cream after each one.
    Add flour and vanilla; mix with spoon by hand or with electric mixer.
    Bake in a tube pan at 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    This cake is very good to eat under strawberries for shortcake.
