Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    3/4 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. prepared steak sauce
    1 c. water
    dash of liquid red pepper seasoning
Preparation
    Saute the onion in the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat; do not brown onion.
    Stir in all remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boiling; lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Refrigerate the cooled barbecue sauce in tightly covered containers for up to 2 weeks.
