Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Measure dry ingredients and sift.
    Add alternately with buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
    Add vanilla.
    Stir in coconut and pecans.
    Bake in layers at 350\u00b0 until top is slightly browned.
