Macaroon Cherry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. vinegar
    3/4 c. crushed soda crackers (21 squares)
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix first 8 ingredients.
    Spread in 9 x 13-inch buttered pan and bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Mix cream cheese, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip and spread over cooled crust.
