Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 sticks margarine, softened
    1 c. strawberry preserves
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine eggs, butter, preserves, soda and sugar; mix well.
    Stir in buttermilk.
    Add remaining ingredients. Divide batter evenly among four greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, until cakes pull away from sides of pans.
    Remove from pans and cool.
