Tasty Barbecue Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. ketchup
    dash of hot sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Shred or chop cabbage.
    Mix brown sugar, vinegar, salt, ketchup and hot sauce thoroughly.
    Pour into a pan and heat just until it comes to a boil.
    Pour the heated liquid over the cabbage and mix well.
    Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight before serving. Makes 5 to 6 cups.
