Fricadellen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    2 slices white bread
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 jar (12 oz.) mushroom gravy
    1 c. Burgundy wine or water
    1 1/2 c. original Minute rice
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Combine beef, onion, bread, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, pepper and nutmeg in large bowl; mix well.
    Shape into 4 loaves.
    Cook loaves in hot oil in large skillet until browned. Stir in gravy and wine.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until cooked through.
