Minivera'S Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. hot milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    vanilla
    1 box zwieback
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. margarine
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix sugar, egg yolks, cornstarch and hot milk and cook over low heat until thick.
    Cool; add vanilla.
    Crush 1 box zwieback; add 2 tablespoons sugar and melted margarine.
    Press mixture firmly in 8-inch pie plate, reserving some crumbs to sprinkle on top.
    Make topping with 3 egg whites, beaten stiff.
    Brown in hot oven.
