Riskrem - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. regular rice
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 or 1 pt. whipping cream
    sugar to taste
    1 tsp. vanilla
    berry syrup
Preparation
    Boil together the first 3 ingredients on medium heat or low heat. Stir frequently until rice is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Remove from heat and cool. Stir off and on so no crust forms. Whip the whipping cream. Add sugar to taste and vanilla.
    Fold whipping cream into rice. Serve with berry syrup.
