Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. syrup (white corn syrup)
1 Tbsp. vanilla
pecans

Preparation

Mix sugar, water and syrup; cook until it threads.
Before done, beat egg whites.
Have ready to pour in hot ingredients. Beat until gloss is gone.
Put in vanilla and pecans and mix with spoon.
Spoon out on wax paper.
Remember to use a glass bowl to beat.
Keep hot ingredients stirred.
