Pork Chops With Thyme Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork chops (thick)
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 onion, sliced thin
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. dried sage
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt 1 tablespoon margarine; saute onion until tender. Remove; keep warm.
    Combine garlic powder, flour, sage and thyme. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add the remaining margarine; brown chops.
    Remove to platter.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Add broth; bring to boil.
    Place chops in pan, cover and reduce heat.
    Baste with pan juice during cooking.
    Cook for 25 to 30 minutes until tender. Remove to serving platter.
