Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. margarine
1 lb. mild Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
enough plain flour to make stiff dough (4 to 6 c.)
1 tsp. red pepper (heaping or to taste)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Grate cheese.
Let cheese and butter stand at room temperature until soft, then beat with electric mixer. Add salt and red pepper.
Add flour, one cup at a time, until mixture is stiff.
Roll out on wax paper. Cut with small cutter and place a pecan on top of each. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Biscuits will be yellow instead of brown.
