Marinated Veggie Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small bell pepper, chopped fine
    4 green onions, chopped fine
    1 can French-style green beans, drained
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 can sliced green beans, drained
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    add any combination according to taste: chopped celery (about 1/2 c.); broccoli (1 c. chopped fine) and/or cauliflower (1 c. chopped fine)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, bell pepper and green onions.
    Add French-style green beans, corn, sliced green beans and carrots.
    Add combination of celery, broccoli and cauliflower.
    Put in a large covered dish.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Serve cold. Serves 10 to 12.
