Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
6 c. chicken broth
1 leek, chopped
1 potato, chopped small
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 bunches broccoli, chopped including some of stem
1/2 c. cream
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook veggies in butter until soft.
Add broth and bayleaf. Cook several minutes on medium high heat to meld all flavors. Puree in blender or food processor till smooth.
Put back in pan and add 1/2 c. cream.
Simmer 45 minutes.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream in center.
