Diabetic Sweet-Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, sliced in rings
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. Sucaryl solution or 8 tablets, crushed
    6 c. raw red cabbage, shredded
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large saucepan.
    Add cabbage, using only the water which still clings to the leaves.
    Cook, covered, over low heat until tender, stirring occasionally, to prevent sticking. Add onion rings, water, vinegar and Sucaryl.
    Cover and cook about 10 minutes longer.
    Yields 6 servings at 68 calories per serving.
