Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder.
    Add vanilla to milk.
    Add flour mixture and milk mixture alternately.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Turn heat to 325\u00b0.
    Bake 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
    Let stand in pan 10 minutes before turning out.
