Calico Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. oil
1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (15 oz.) can sweet peas, drained
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (4 oz.) jar pimiento pieces, sliced or diced and drained
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
Preparation

Heat together vinegar, pepper, salt, sugar and oil until dissolved; set aside to cool.
Place vegetables in large bowl or container and pour cooled dressing over vegetable mixture. Refrigerate 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
Add more vegetables to marinade when supply gets low.
